Some Updates and Unresolved Issues...

1. Last months elections came and went without incident. Party flags and minibuses disappeared as quickly as they went up and party advertisements were replaced overnight with ten foot tall images of Jessica Alba. One might even say the elections were boring: the ruling party (AKP) took 47% of the vote and there was no coup.
   
   
2. The fourth glass of raki does not always taste better than the first. Sometimes, raki starts nasty and ends that way.
   
   
3. The shrill, phantom whistling I hear every night is a police officer shooing away the stray dogs as he patrols the streets behind Superdorm. Mystery no longer; still annoying as hell.
   
   
4. My stomach still hurts.
